Life is a beach.

If only we had a month to stay in Destin. We are having a great time and are enjoying some fantastic food! We have to go back to reality tomorrow.

Hello from the beach!

We are enjoying our family vacation in Destin, FL! We got here Tuesday afternoon and will leave Sunday. We are having a blast and could stay here forever....well minus the sleepless night we had last night. The ocean is beautiful from our condo.

Betty White takes a blow.

Our weekend was hectic to say the least. Andy woke up Saturday morning to take the suburban aka Betty White to his work to clean it and vacuum it in preparation for our beach trip this week. He came home, and she looked like new...sparkly and clean. We had a wedding to go to that evening so as usual, we are running out the door and late as usual. We are headed down highway 7 toward Oxford when Betty starts getting a little shaky, and before we can pull over to see what was wrong....BOOM...we look out the window and see things flying down the road and the side mirror is just haning by wires. Keep in mind that the only thing running through my mind (after I realize we are safe) is how are we going to get to Destin?!? I start panicking as any good wife would do, and Andy quickly brings me back to reality and calms me. I am scared to get out and look at Betty's damage at this point because all I was thinking about were the sounds I heard and the debris flying down the highway. I get out after counting to 10 and calming myself and see that it's not as bad as it sounded and felt. The tire didn't blow out. The outer layer of it somehow came off and hit the side of the truck knocking off the mirror and scuffing it up. I am so thankful was driving, and that we didn't have a wreck as a result. A sick baby boy.

Look at that sweet face. Liam Asher was sick Monday so we took a visit to the walkin clinic at the peds office. His dx was upper respiratory infection aka cold and congestion. He was put on an antibiotic for 10 days so hopefully he will be all well next Tuesday when we head off on our first ever vacation as a family of 4 to the BEACH! :) Can you tell I am excited?!?

Mommy and Daddy's night out!

Andy and I went with Kala and Josh to eat at Anthony's Good Food Market in West Point last night. We had such a great time, and it was much needed! The girls got the Bourbon grilled BBQ shrimp, and the men had the steaks. Let me just say, our tummies were smiling when we left! It was fabulous! We are already planning our next night out!

Friday night fun!

We are all so happy to see the weekend finally! Andy and I have a date tomorrow with Kala and Josh to Anthony's in West Point, and I can't wait! Lawson said "Mommy, look at us", and this is what I turned around to find. They are sharing already!
