The Calhoun County fair

As a kid I remember spending my summers playing outside until dark, staying up late gossiping with friends, and ending the summer by going to the fair. I have many fond memories as a child that I hope to pass down to Lawson and Liam. Tonight my mom and I took them to their first fair in Pittsboro. I got so much enjoyment from watching Lawson smile and laugh while riding the rides and playing games. Liam is a bit too young to enjoy the fair, but he did get to ride the merry-go-round and enjoyed every minute of it! I hope to take them back next year and help create lifelong memories for them to cherish just as I do!

A little of this and a lot of that.

Well the family of four has been super busy lately. We had a great family vacation to Destin back in June and lots of 4th of July festivities to follow. Things seem to have
finally settled down a bit so I have time to blog. The boys are as sweet as ever and are growing too fast! Liam is starting to talk more and is doing the cutest things. Lawson has boundless energy as usual and wakes up running! Life is grand. I cannot believe that August will be here in a few short weeks, and school starts back. I will leave you with a few recent pictures of the boys before daycare.

God Bless America!

We celebrated this 4th of July with but what else....parades and fireworks. It all started Friday with the 3rd annual CLC 4th of July parade at the daycare. Lawson and Liam's classes were in it. Lawson rode his big bike that was decked out in red, white, and blue, while Liam strolled in the quad stroller waving his mini American flag. Both were a sweet site to see! We spent Sunday afternoon in Calhoun Co with Andy's grandparents and visited with Monie. We got up Monday morning and headed to the square for the annual 4th of July parade that Oxford has. Lawson and Andy rode in the Northeast power truck as Liam and I watched on from the sidelines. Both boys had a blast! We ended the weekend with the fireworks show at the U of MS baseball field. It was a very memorable weekend and an awesome 4th of July! Here are a few pics to prove it.
