Pocket full of sunshine....

Lawson is almost 13 months old, and he is doing something new and funny everyday. His latest thing is blowing a kiss, but instead of putting his hand up to his mouth and blowing the kiss he puts his hand up to his ear. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen!! He is such a little cutie. He has also started giving me "sugar" on demand, but instead of putting his lips together he just leans in with his mouth wide open and kisses. I call him my little sugar daddy!!! I will post pictures as soon as I can get him to slow down long enough to take one. Thank goodness I have a good camara that can take really fast action shots because he is not still unless he is sleeping. He definitely fills my pocket full of sunshine!!!

Happy First Birthday Lawson!!

The FIRST birthday party was so much fun!!! Lawson had such a great time, and he was so excited to see everyone! I can't believe my baby is 1 year old!!!!! I am so excited to see what the next year brings us because this past year has been the best year of my life!

Lawson thinks he can ride on anything including his dump truck that is made for pushing NOT riding. It makes for cute pictures though!

My precious boy...

We are counting down the days until Lawson's FIRST birthday! It is so sad that my baby is turning one year old. It seems like yesterday that we were in the hospital meeting him for the first time. Time sure does fly! You don't know what everyone's talking about when they say that kids grow up fast until you have one yourself! Boy are they right! Lawson is the smartest child I know. He began walking at 9 months old and is now running. He'll be skipping before long. He is starting to feed himself with a spoon and is saying more everyday. He can say Hi, Mama, Dada, and a few other sounds. He is always happy and loves life!!

Finally getting well...

Lawson is finally feeling better now after the last few days of tonsillitis! He has been a trooper through it all. It is so difficult to see my baby sick, but I am so happy that he's getting back to his old happy self. I will post pictures as soon as I can figure this thing out!!

I'm a rookie...but I learn quickly!

This blogging is all new to me so be patient as I learn the ropes. I will try to post pics soon! So Andy and I are enjoying life with our soon to be 1 year old (yep, I can't believe it either) precious boy, Lawson! He is the joy of my life, the sunshine in my day, the music in my heart, the flower in my vase, the meatballs in my spagetti....life would just not be as great without him!!!! He makes me who I am!
